Troop 621 Food Drive- Bath, ME

Troop 621 assembled this last Saturday to organize a food drive for Bath, Maine. We had a fantastic turn out of scouts and we managed to collect over 1 Ton of food! All of the food we collected will be distributed to families in need across Maine, over 40% of which are children in need. We thank everyone who helped us with our collections last Saturday!

Troop 621 Hosts Klondike Derby in Bath, Maine

On Saturday January 30th Boy Scout Troop 621 of Bath hosted the Klondike Derby for the Pinetree Council of Maine. It was a fantastic success and Troops from all over Maine descended on the Maine Maritime Museum for a day of Semaphore Flag Signaling and other Maritime fun.

Troop 621 Visits the Booth Bay Marine Science Lab

On December 1st, Troop 621 got to visit the Booth Bay Marine Science Lab. Everyone had a great time touring the facility and learning all about Marine Biology and the creatures that live in our waters!

Troop 621 Celebrates Thanks Giving

Troop 621 had a great time celebrating Thanks Giving on the 24th of November. Each patrol prepared a delicious dish during the meeting for everyone to enjoy. Then after everyone was done cooking, we all sat down to a feast of more foods than you can imagine. From Fried Turkey to Sweet Potatoes and Fluff, it was all there. Troop 621 on the Battleship USS Massachusetts

Troop 621 had the fantastic opportunity to visit and explore the Battleship USS Massachusetts. Check out the adventures of our scouts.

Pine Tree Council Camp Bomazeen Camporee

From October 17th to the 19th, Troop 621 participated in the Pine Tree Council camporee. On Friday we headed up to Camp Bomazeen. We set up camp that evening and got ready for Saturday activities. The next morning, after the flag ceremony, we traveled around to various stations to demonstrate basic scouting skills including knot tying, canoe portaging, fly fishing and many others. That evening the camp had a closing Camp Fire and all of the troops preformed skits. Most of them actually turned out really well. The next morning we packed up camp and headed back home

Summer Camp at Camp Roosevelt

Troop 621 headed off to camp Roosevelt this last July. We had a great time and a huge group of scouts attend. We all had an amazing time. Watch the camp video of Troop 621 scouts in action!

Boston Trip

Last March, scouts from Troop 621 went on a day trip to Boston. They visited the Boston Museum of Science and did a lot of other sight seeing. Check out the pictures of the adventure.

Troop 621 Partners with Best Buy for Food Drive

Boy Scout Troop 621 of Bath is working with Best Buy to hold a Food Drive to fight hunger in our community. The troop will be working throughout Bath to collect donations and our goal is to stuff our scout trailer full of food for the Bath Area Food Pantry. We are looking for non-perishable items; especially canned products. Please nothing frozen or in glass. From 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, March 6th, our Troop will collect donations at the Bath Shaws so you can drop off your items after you shop. You can also drop your donations off at the Dominos Pizza in Bath at 4 Oak Grove Ave. The food you help us collect will ultimately be distributed to local neighborhood soup kitchens and food banks. We will help feed our neighbors in need, 40% of which are hungry children.

What: Game night/Sleepover at the American Legion

When: Tuesday December 29, 2009 Arrive at 6 and Pick-up is between 7 & 7:30 Wed AM

What to bring: Bring your favorite board games, sleeping bag, sleep pad/air mattress, pillow, toiletries etc., maybe a snack to share. NO ELECTRONIC GAMES! This is a chance for us to all have fun and interact with each other like your parents used to!Please be sure and eat before you come and breakfast will be served in the morning before leaving.

What: January Court of Honor

December/January Court of HonorOn January 5th we will have our next Court of Honor-postponed from December.

Our Court of Honor is a time for us to recognize our scouts for their accomplishments over the previous several months. Families are encouraged to attend to help us show support and encouragement for the boys. Flagstaff Lake Eustis, ME Permission Slip
