Troop 621 assembled this last Saturday to organize a food drive for Bath, Maine. We had a fantastic turn out of scouts and we managed to collect over 1 Ton of food! All of the food we collected will be distributed to families in need across Maine, over 40% of which are children in need. We thank everyone who helped us with our collections last Saturday!
Boy Scout Troop 621 of Bath is working with Best Buy to hold a Food Drive to fight hunger in our community. The troop will be working throughout Bath to collect donations and our goal is to stuff our scout trailer full of food for the Bath Area Food Pantry. We are looking for non-perishable items; especially canned products. Please nothing frozen or in glass. From 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, March 6th, our Troop will collect donations at the Bath Shaws so you can drop off your items after you shop. You can also drop your donations off at the Dominos Pizza in Bath at 4 Oak Grove Ave. The food you help us collect will ultimately be distributed to local neighborhood soup kitchens and food banks. We will help feed our neighbors in need, 40% of which are hungry children.
On Saturday January 30th Boy Scout Troop 621 of Bath hosted the Klondike Derby for the Pinetree Council of Maine. It was a fantastic success and Troops from all over Maine descended on the Maine Maritime Museum for a day of Semaphore Flag Signaling and other Maritime fun.
Troop 621 had a great time celebrating Thanks Giving on the 24th of November. Each patrol prepared a delicious dish during the meeting for everyone to enjoy. Then after everyone was done cooking, we all sat down to a feast of more foods than you can imagine. From Fried Turkey to Sweet Potatoes and Fluff, it was all there.
